This mill has a fully vertical production chain that includes yarn dyeing, warping, weaving, printing and finishing. The vertical production allows them to oversee daily manufacturing to assure that all standards of ethics are met. They look to the UN Sustainable Development Goals as a guide to become as environmentally sustainable as they can in their manufacturing processes. In their efforts to push demand for ethical fibers, they’re working to eliminate virgin polyester. They use either recycled polyester or new polyester that is made from recycled bottles. They’re also looking into renewable fiber crops that can repair soil erosion and mitigate greenhouse gases that result from many conventional fibers. They comply with the following standards: Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) capable Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) approved raw material for viscose Global Recycled Standard (GRS) for polyester
