Handcrafted in Italy at a couture atelier founded by two sisters in Parma, where three generations have refined their lace-making techniques.

The Dietrich Blouse is a realization of Gabi’s dream — the silk organza was produced exactly as envisioned. Featuring a swirling, romantic motif with textural cutouts nodding to the inspiration from the work of archaeologist Marija Gimbutas, who illuminated the power and prominence of goddesses in prehistoric European, matrilineal societies, the collection channels the spirit of these ancient figures. Sculptural shapes, motifs, and forms echo the grace and strength found in goddess artifacts.

Silk’s resilient elasticity maintains garment shape, and its smooth surface is resistant to attracting dirt. Silk keeps you cool in warm weather, and provides insulating warmth in cool weather.

This family-owned Italian Embroidery atelier has passed on technique and artisan crafting of lace for 3 generations. The company has an archival top floor filled with historical embroideries by which their artistic pieces are created and derived.
