The Striker Flat Sandal takes its name from "L'Amoureux VI", the Major Arcana card of union and choice from the Tarot de Marseille. Double straps in suede, nappa, and water snake meet across the foot, a tactile blend of textures set on a biodegradable EVA low sole.

Handcrafted in Italy, these designer flat sandals embody conscious luxury. The ethically sourced landsnake and lamb leather are chosen for their exceptional quality and traceable provenance, while the slip-on construction keeps them easy to wear from gallery openings to coastal afternoons.

Sustainable Materials

This season, Gabriela Hearst's signature Striker sandals, made in Italy, are crafted out of a biodegradable EVA platform on a cuoio leather sole with a comfortable footbed. The multi-functional buckles mixed with the premium Italian calf leather in a rich gold color, are inspired by Gabriela Hearst's collection theme.

Sole: 100% Calf Leather (Spain).

The soles of these shoes are made from bio-based EVA foam. Use of bio foam allows the soles to degrade in an industrial controlled landfill, unlike virgin EVA foam.

Genuine Nappa is a chrome-tanned leather known for its distinctly smooth and supple softness. It is named after its origins in Napa Valley, California, where its tanning process was first developed in 1875. Like other full-grain leathers, its natural texture and marks show on the surface; for this reason, only better-quality hides are used.

Calfskin is notable for its durable and pliable nature. Flexible enough for a custom fit, the tightness of the grain provides an elegant and refined surface.

This shoe was made at a factory located in Venice, Italy.

Based in Florence, Italy since 1948, this small leather tannery is part of the Leather Working Group.
