The Brigita Slip Dress is a longer version of our classic Bidget Dress featuring a V-neck slip silhouette, emphasized with a low-cut back. This style is with thin straps and a raw hem detail. This style is cut to skim one’s figure and is finished with a fluted skirt.

This garment was made in a couture artisan workshop founded by 2 sisters in Parma, Italy.

This French Silk Atelier is labeled EPV, an acronym which stands for Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant. This distinguishes their rare and exceptional expertise on silks and velvet manufacturing in artisan craft from other industrial companies. Not only are they in the process of becoming Oeko-Tex certified, but they also have a wastewater treatment plant that is managed by their city council; regularly texted for compliance. Their specialty in silk velvet is unique as it possesses a very particular savoir-faire that is no longer taught in vocational schools. They work specifically with GOTS and FSC certified yarns.

Silk is known for its luxurious drape, luster and ability to take rich color. It is the strongest natural fiber and has low density, creating light and comfortable fabric. Silk’s resilient elasticity maintains garment shape, and its smooth surface is resistant to attracting dirt. Silk keeps you cool in warm weather and provides insulating warmth in cool weather.
