This family-owned mill was founded in 1733. They were the first in Italy to produce printed fabrics, and they continued to explore and innovate over the centuries. In 1913, one of the family members traveled to the Himalayas and learned of the supreme warmth of the fur from the underbelly of the cashmere goats, worn by local shepherds. He took this knowledge back to the mill, adding to the breadth of luxurious and warm fibers they produced. Today, the mill has a wastewater treatment plant and they recycle 20% of the treated manufacturing water. Their goal is to recycle 80% of the water in the future. They are capable of the following certifications: Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) - for some articles, and Global Recycle Standard (GRS)- for some articles.
