The Rey Straight-Leg Five Pocket Pant is cut from 100% recycled cotton denim in Uruguayan Blue, woven, dyed and finished in Turkey, then garment-finished in Italy. The straight-leg silhouette has a structured hand with a lightweight feel, anchored by a classic five-pocket construction and custom wood-inlaid brass buttons at the waistband that can be removed for machine washing.

Named within the Gabriela Hearst tradition of meaningful nomenclature, the Rey pant carries the house's Uruguayan-inspired approach to sustainable denim, pairing artisanal sourcing with the precision of Italian construction and a silhouette drawn from menswear-inspired tailoring.

The Italian finishing factory adheres to REACH (EU Reg. 1907/2006) and CLP (EU Reg. 1272/2008) regulations, eliminating chlorinated paraffins, phthalates and heavy metals from its process; a 150kW photovoltaic system installed in 2023 now supplies 75% of the facility's energy, alongside three electric car charging stations for employees.
