The Alessia Strapless Maxi Dress in Uruguayan Flowers Printed Linen is cut from 100% Italian linen printed with a floral motif drawn from Gabriela's personal sketchbook. A built-in corset shapes the structured strapless bodice, while the skirt flares to a wide hem where a painterly effect fades softly into the print.

Linen is a natural flax fiber, one of the oldest cultivated, keeping the skin cool through natural airflow and softening with each wear while holding its shape.

Sustainability: The print is produced at a northern Italian mill founded in 1945, now in its third family generation, working from a print archive dating to 1880 and complying with AZO-Free Dye and REACH standards. The dress is constructed at an atelier founded in 2003 by three women.

Linen is a natural fiber from the flax plant, and is one of the oldest cultivated plant fibers. It has exceptional ability to keep skin cool in warm weather, due to its airflow, wicking, and crisp fibers that stand away from body. Twice as strong as cotton, it becomes softer over time, while maintaining its exceptional durability.

This northern Italian mill was founded in 1945, and is currently run by 3rd generation family. They are experts in printing, including hand, machine, and digital printing. Their in-house design team creates numerous prints, working with an impressive archive of prints that date back to 1880.

This Italian factory was founded in 2003 by three women, two of whom are sisters with impressive family lineage in fashion and garment craftsmanship. Their mother was a gifted talent scout who discovered Martin Margiela, among others, and their father dedicated a lifetime to the art of traditional tailoring.
