The Clayton Ankle Boot in black nappa leather is built on a curved 50mm kitten heel with a sculptural silhouette, a pointed toe, and a full back zip closure. The upper is cut from Italian calf leather tanned by a small Padua-based tannery within the Leather Working Group (Gold Rated), using chrome-free skins and 100% renewable energy.

Assembled at an atelier in Venice, Italy, the Clayton's tight-grain calfskin conforms to the foot over time, while the low heel keeps it grounded for daily wear.

Suede is a soft leather that is split from the underside of the hide, creating a velvety napped finish. While its characteristics depend on the type of animal, the tanning process and thickness, most suede is quite pliable.
