In 2016 the mill joined the Greenpeace Detox Project, committing to eliminate hazardous substances from its production cycle, and the facility treats and reuses wastewater. Certifications held by the mill include the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI), Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), Ecocert Organic Content Standard (OCS), Recycled Blended Claim Standard (RCS), Recycled Down Standard (RDS), and Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC). The garment is sewn at an Italian atelier fully powered by solar energy that recycles applicable fabric waste.
