The Lauren Knit Wrap is hand knitted in 100% Welfat cashmere by the artisans of Manos del Uruguay, a Fair Trade women's cooperative founded in 1968, and finished with hand-tied fringe in a warm oatmeal colorway. The yarn comes from a Mongolian mill founded in 1928, a member of the Sustainable Fiber Alliance, with dyeing, weaving, and finishing completed in Italy.
78 inches across the base and 44 inches along the sides, the wrap works as a shoulder layer, a travel throw, or a sofa accent at home. Each piece is the work of a single knitter, made in limited quantities as part of Gabriela Hearst's commitment to heritage craftsmanship and sustainable luxury womenswear.
