The May Turtleneck is a Gabriela Hearst staple, knit from a 90% virgin wool, 10% cashmere blend spun into Italian yarns. The fitted pullover sits close to the body with long sleeves and a folded turtleneck collar, made to pair with the Freddie Knit Skirt in matching black merino wool cashmere for a coordinated set.

Sustainability: The yarn comes from a family-owned Italian mill founded in 1958, now powered by renewable energy, recycling more than 90% of its waste, and operating under ISO 14001:2015 environmental and ISO 45001:2018 health and safety standards. The mill belongs to the Cashmere and Camel Hair Manufacturers Institute and the Textile and Health Association, and follows a no-mulesing policy. Cashmere is among the most insulating natural fibers, up to three times warmer than standard wool, with a natural drape and wrinkle resistance that holds through wear.
