The tannery is audited by Kering and LVMH and holds SA8000 certification for ethical labor practices. The Venice factory operates under an internal ethics and social responsibility code and a documented safety management system (SGSSL), reflecting Gabriela Hearst's commitment to traceable, ethically made luxury footwear.
