Product Details

The Vesta Flare Pant is cut from 100% virgin wool barre suiting woven at a family-owned Italian mill, with high-waisted, gently flared trousers carrying a mountainscape and waterfall print created in collaboration with Paul Smith, drawn from Gabriela's personal sketchbook. This season the Vesta builds a complete suit with the Angela double-breasted blazer and the Coleridge vest.

The wool comes from a GOTS-certified mill audited by Kering Standards, and the pant is constructed at a family-owned Italian factory founded in 1957, run today by the founder's daughter and her husband.

This family owned Italian mill is characterized by their efforts in environmental protection, adapting many company protocols and standards to diminish their carbon footprint and improve the overall integrity of their production process. This garment was produced at a family-owned Italian factory. It was initially founded in 1957 as a traditional tailor shop, transitioning to become a factory in 1985. Today it is run by the founder’s daughter and her husband.

Wool is a renewable fiber; one sheep can produce 4-5 pounds of wool per year. Wool provides warmth by trapping heat, while simultaneously transporting moisture away from the body so skin stays dry and comfortable. It is naturally antimicrobial, so it resists odors and rarely needs washing. Its exceptional durability allows for long garment lifespan, and it can biodegrade when disposed into right soil conditions.
