GABRIELA HEARST RELEASES NEW COLORWAYS OF ITS FIRST SUSTAINABLY CRAFTED SNEAKER, THE OHIO

The Ohio, first introduced on the runway of the Spring Summer 2025 show, reflects the brand’s foundations in quality and craftsmanship, while lowering the environmental impact.

The Ohio sneaker is made in Italy. Its rubber soles are composed of 30% recycled materials, while its stitches are made of 30% recycled polyester certified by the Global Recycled Standard. The leather laces add a signature textural detail to the slip on style with its interior elastic ribbon made entirely of recycled polyester and natural rubber.

100% of the leather used for the Ohio is sourced from a Tannery Certified by the
Leather working group, while the sole is assembled using water-based glue, which uses fewer chemicals than solvent-based glue and is free from polyurethane.

The Ohio new colorways featuring Cobalt, Antelope Orange, Burnt Sienna, Golden Birch, Charcoal and Black Nabuk leather will be available from June 2025 at our New York, Beverly Hills, London and Tokyo stores and on gabrielahearst.com.
