With much of fashion industry production contracted outside of factories, especially for intricate handwork or finishing, contractor working conditions must be considered in addition to conditions within the four-walled factory. Working from home is often preferred by these contractor employees, as many need to stay home with their children and continue to gain income.
In regard to ecological impact, this factory purifies all of its wastewater. They return the water to the local river, where it is often used for agricultural irrigation.
